A check raise occurs when you check, your opponent calls, and you raise his bet. This is a sudden transition from feigning weakness to showing strength. It can also be a way to "trap" an opponent. Flyonthewall explained how this move can be used.

As a low-risk player, I never use this strategy. It is a very riskey and illogical situation in most cases.

It hurts to remember beats. I follow simple strategy never remember loss it can be a hurdle in playing.
