Default Texas Holdem Poker Rules

Texas Holdem Rules:

Before the dealing begins the two blinds must be played, (Small Blind and Big Blind) are placed into the pot to begin the game by the two players to the immediate left of the dealer.

The dealer now deals each player two cards face down, these are also known as the (pocket cards or hole cards). The game begins with the player to the left of the big blind either folding, calling or raising. This continues around the table until every player has made a decision. This is the first round of betting.

Once the first round of betting is completed the dealer will deal 3 community cards face up to the center of the table. This is also known as the “Flop”. Once all the players have seen the flop a second round of betting incurs. They player to the left of the dealer begins this round of betting by either folding, checking or raising. Once this round of betting is completed the dealer will deal out another face up card to the community cards. This card is also known as the “Turn” card.

A third round of betting begins with the player to the immediate left of the dealer and continues around the table until all players have done one of the following: folded out of the game, checked or raised.

Once all the betting is completed the dealer will deal the 5th and final card to the community cards. This card is also known as the “River”. The final betting phase begins with the remaining players by either folding, checking or raising. Upson completion of the final betting round the best poker hand is revealed and wins the pot.

Blinds are determined by the poker room.

I'm not sure if you're looking for a reply but I've read and understood the rules.

String bets, blind raises, pecking order. So much goes unsaid when somebody makes a list of "rules".

The only way to truly understand the game is to play. A lot. For money or not, that is the best way to truly understand.

Yip I'll follow the rules fly if you don't mind me calling you that. But experience is always the best teacher and I don't see that changing.
