No way. No one has ever been charged, to my knowledge, from playing online poker. To my knowledge, Gambling online, as the gambler, isn't illegal in America. The crime is in operating the poker room. There are no penalties for the gambler.

Unfortunately Party Poker has pulled out of the US market, however that doesn't mean they have pulled out of the business. They still accept players from anywhere else. I use to play at Party and I really liked the place, tons of players, excellent tournaments especially the texas holdem sit and go tournaments.

Party Poker has also extended it's reach into the sports betting arena with the start of its new sportsbook, Partybets.com.

They are still big players in the online poker world so I would suggest party poker to any non US players.

Never been to Sweden Pikals but I know enough about it to know your country thinks well ahead of the times. Very modern and liberal! One day I hope to see it.

My brother used to play on party poker before they stopped allowing us clients to play. I honestly do not like party poker, I personally much prefer bodog.

It hurts to remember beats. I follow simple strategy never remember loss it can be a hurdle in playing.
